የአንጾኪያ ኦርቶዶክስ ፓትርያርክ ዮሐንስ ኤክስ በእሁድ ስብከት ባደረጉት ንግግር “ጭፍጨፋው በብዙ ንጹሐን ክርስቲያኖች ላይ ያነጣጠረ” መሆኑን ጠቁመዋል። አብዛኞቹ ሰለባዎች “ሴቶችን እና ህጻናትን ጨምሮ ንፁሃን እና ያልታጠቁ ሰላማዊ ዜጎች ናቸው” ብለዋል።

ክርስቲያን ሴቶችም ሂጃብ እንዲለብሱ በእስላማዊው አገዛዝ እየተነገራቸው ነው።

ከእነዚህም መካከል ክርስቲያን ሴቶች ሂጃብ እንዲለብሱ የሚጋብዝ እስላማዊ በራሪ ወረቀቶችን ማሰራጨት፣ የታጠቁ ቡድኖች እስላማዊ ባንዲራ ይዘው በክርስቲያን ሰፈሮች ሲዘምቱ፣ ነዋሪዎችን ማስፈራራት፣ በክርስቲያን ቤተሰብ ላይ ያነጣጠረ የመሬትና የንብረት ወረራ ዘገባዎች ይገኙበታል።

አይይይ፡ እናንተ አረመኔ የዋቄዮ-አላህ-ሉሲፈር ባሪያዎች! አቤት የሚጠብቃችሁ የእግዚአብሔር አምላክ ፍርድ! በሰሜን ኢትዮጵያም እኮ እያካሄዱት ያሉት ሃይማኖታዊ ጦርነት ነው፤ የፖለቲካ ወይም የብሔር ጦርነት አይደለም! በተለይ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዷውያን ይህን በግልጽ መናገር እና ማሳወቅ አለብን፤ የእነዚህ ሉሲፈራውያን ዲያብሎሳዊ ጂሃድ በኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ሃይማኖት ተከታይ ላይ መሆኑን እያንዳንዱ ክርስቲያን መናገር መቻል አለበት። እኔ እንኳን በአቅሜ ስለዚህ በኦርቶዶክስ ክርስቲያኑ ዓለም ላይ ያነጣጠረ ሤራ ስናገር ሃያ ዓመት ሊሆነኝ ነው። የሉሲፈራውያን ጦርነት በሕዘብ ክርስቲያኑ ላይ ነው! 'መምህራን' ተብየዎቹ የት አሉ? ምን እየሠሩ ነው? በተለይ ከትግራይ እና ኤርትራ ክፍለ ሃገራት ስለዚህ ዲያብሎሳዊ ሤራ የሚናገሩ መንፈሳውያን አባቶች፣ መምህራን እና ልሂቃን ወጥተው ለዓለም መናገር፣ ማስተማር እና ማስጠነቀቅ ነበረባቸው እኮ! በሌሎቹስ ተስፋ ቆርጫለሁ!

Christians have been butchered in Syria, even women and children, by Syria’s new government forces (backed by NATO of course), as we read in Le Monde:

“Today, we stand as guarantors for all the Syrian people and all faiths, and we protect everyone in the same way ,” assured the head of Syrian diplomacy, Assad Hassan Al-Chibani, during a trip to Amman.

Since his arrival at the head of a multi-ethnic and multi-confessional country, torn apart by more than thirteen years of civil war, Ahmad Al-Charaa has tried to obtain the support of the international community and to reassure minorities.

In a sermon on Sunday, the Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch, John X, noted that the “massacres also targeted” many innocent Christians . The majority of the victims “were innocent and unarmed civilians, including women and children ,” he said.

Christian women are also being told by the government to wear the hijab, according to one report presented by the European Conservative:

These include the distribution of Islamist flyers calling on Christian women to wear the hijab, armed groups marching through Christian neighborhoods with Islamist flags, intimidating residents, and reports of land and property seizures targeting Christian families.

The Muslim population, emboldened by HTS’ rise to power, has engaged in increasing levels of intimidation and violence against Christians. In the ‘Christian Valley’, villages were urged by the regime to surrender their weapons. They did so, believing that only the state should have the right to bear arms. However, this decision left them defenseless, making them an easy target.

Now, with HTS in control, many Muslim villagers see an opportunity to take advantage of the situation. Antiochian Greeks, who tend to be more educated and economically successful, are particularly vulnerable to extortion, land grabs, and outright violence.
