የኦርቶዶክስ ክርስትናን ከፍታ አሳይቶ ለማክበርና ሰማይ ጠቀሱን ካቴድራል ለማቋቋም የታቀደው እ.ኤ.አ. በ 1878 ሩሲያ እና ሮማኒያ በክርስቶስ ተቃዋሚዎቹ የኦቶማን ሙስሊም ኃይሎች ላይ ድል በተቀዳጁበት ወቅት ነው። ሮማውያን ያንን ግጭት የነጻነት ጦርነት ብለው ይጠሩታል።

በ፳/20ኛው መቶ ዘመን፣ የዓለም ጦርነቶች፣ ከዚያም የኮሚኒስት አምባገነንነት እንቅፋት በመሆናቸው እንዲሁም በወቅቱ አካባቢን ለመምረጥ በመቸገራቸው የካቴድራሉ ፕሮጀክት በተደጋጋሚ እንዲቀር ተደርጓል። በመጨረሻም፣ እ.ኤ.አ. በ2010፣ በኮሚኒስት አምባገነን ኒኮላ ቻውሴስኩ በታወቀው አንጋፋ የፓርላማ ቤተ መንግስት ግዛት ጥቅም ላይ ባልዋለ መሬት ላይ ካቴድራሉ እንዲሠራ ተወስኗል፣ እናም ግንባታው ከዚያን ጊዜ ጀምሮ ቀጥሏል።

እስካሁን ለፕሮጀክቱ ፪፻/200 ሚሊዮን ዩሮ (፪፻፲፮/216 ሚሊዮን ዶላር) ወጪ ተደርጓል፣ አብዛኛው ገንዘብ የሚገኘው ከህዝብ መዋጮ እና ሩቡም ከልገሳ ነው።

የካቴድራሉ መንፈሳዊ እና ተግባራዊ ውጤቶች ዋጋውን ከዋጋው በላይ ያደርገዋል። ቦታው ለሁለቱም የኦርቶዶክስ ክርስቲያኖች እና አማኝ ያልሆኑ ሰዎች ትልቅ የአምልኮ ስፍራ ሊሆን ይችላል።

ካቴድራሉ አንድ ሺህ/1,000 ዘማሪዎችን እና ስድስት ሺህ/ 6,000 ምእመናንን በዋናው አዳራሽ ውስጥ መያዝ ይችላል። አንድ ትልቅ የአርቲስቶች ቡድን በአሁኑ ጊዜ የውስጥ ገጽታዎችን በሚሞሉ ሞዛይኮች ላይ እየሠራ ነው።

ለፕሮጀክቱ ፳፭/25 ቶን ደወል የተነደፈው በጣሊያን ካምፓኖሎጂስት ፍላቪዮ ዛምቦቶ በሚመራ ቡድን ነው። እሱ የሚያወጣው እያንዳንዱ ደወል ለእሱ "እንደ ልጅ" ቢሆንም ለቡካሬስት ካቴድራል የተነደፈውን ግዙፍ መሣሪያ "ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ለመስማት ስሜታዊ ነበር ጠንካራ፣ ጥልቅ፣ ረጅም፣ አንተን የሚያቅፍ ድምፅ ነው፣ ምልክት ያደርጋል” በማለት ባለሙያው ለሮማኒያ ሚዲያ ተናግሯል።።

በ፳/20 ኪሎ ሜትር ርቀት ላይ ደወሉን ለመስማት የሚቻል መሆኑን ዘገባዎች ጠቁመዋል።

❖ የሮማኒያ ኦርቶዶክስ ሰዎች መገኘት የሚያሳየው ይህ ካቴድራል ከ፲፵/140 ዓመታት በፊት የታቀደው ከንቱ እንዳልሆነ ነው። ለሁሉም ለሮማኒያ ጀግኖች መታሰቢያ እና የሀገር አንድነት ምልክት ነው።

❖ አዎ! ሃሌ ሉያ! ባህላዊ እና ሃይማኖታዊ ቅርሶቿን እና ማንነቷን ለመጠበቅ ለሮማኒያውያን ምስጋና እና አድናቆት

❖ ክርስቲያን ሕዝብ ጤናማ ሕዝብ ነው።

❖ እንደ ሮማንያዊ ይህ ቤተክርስቲያን እስኪጠናቀቅ መጠበቅ አልችልም! እዛ ሄጄ ለመጸለይ እና በክርስቶስ ፊት ለመሆን እቅድ አለኝ! ክርስቶስ በሁሉም ኦርቶዶክስ ቤተክርስቲያን ውስጥ አለ።

❖ እንደ ማሌዥያዊ ኦርቶዶክስ ክብር ለእግዚአብሔር ይሁን። በዚህ ልፍስፍስ ምዕራባዊ ዓለም መካከል ሮማውያን በእምነታቸው ያድጉ ዘንድ መልካም ነው።

❖ ምንም እንኳን ኦርቶዶክስ ባልሆንም ለእነሱ ትልቅ ክብር አለኝ ይህ ካቴድራል እጅግ አስደናቂ ነው የአውሮፓ ህብረትን ለሚመሩት ዓለማውያን ትልቅ የፊት ጥፊ መመታት ነው።

❖ ቆንጆ! እግዚአብሔር ሮማኒያን ይጠብቅ

❖ ይህ በጣም ጥሩ ነው። ሮማኒያ ባህሏንና ሥሮቿን/መሠረቶቿን ከፍ አድርጋ ትመለከታለች። በምዕራቡ ዓለም ከእነርሱ አንድ ነገር መማር እንችላለን።

❖ ውብ ይሆናል። ከአንድ ካቶሊክ እግዚአብሔር አምላክ ሮማኒያን እና የኦርቶዶክስ እምነትን ይባርክ።

❖ ከብሪታኒያ ሃይማኖት የቀየርኩ/የተለወጠ ሰው ነኝ ባለፈው እሁድ ተጠመቅኩ... ምርጥ ምርጫ!

❖ አሜሪካ ውስጥ ያለሁ የኦርቶዶክስ እምነት ተከታይ እንደመሆኔ፣ ይህንን በቅርብ ጊዜ እጎበኘዋለሁ።

❖ እንደ ሮማንያዊ ምንም የሚያከራክር ነገር የለም። ካቴድራሉ ለ ፪፻/200 ዓመታት እቅድ ተይዞ ነበር ነገር ግን ሥራ ይጀመራል በተባለ ቁጥር ጦርነቱ እያራዘመው ነበር።

❖ £200m ለሀገር አቀፍ ግንባታ? ለእኔ ምክንያታዊ እና ተገቢ ነው። ብሪታኒያ ለዌምብሌይ ስታዲየም ብቻ £800m አውጥታለች። እግር ኳስ የሚጫወትበት ሕንፃ። ታዲያ ለፀሎት ውድ የሆነ ሕንፃ ያስደንቃልን?

❖ እግዚአብሔርን ያከብራል ምእመናንን ያነሳሳል ስለዚህም ዋጋው ሲያንሰው ነው።

❖ ሚኒሶታ 1.4ቢሊየን ዶላር (ጥገናን ሳይጨምር) በህዝብ የተደገፈ የአሜሪካ እግር ኳስ/NFL ስታዲየም አላት።

❖ ሮማኒያ እንደሌሎች የክርስቲያን ሃገራት ብሔራዊ ካቴድራል የላትም፣ ይህ ደግሞ ከ፻/100 ዓመታት በላይ ሲሠራ ቆይቷል። አሁን እየገነባን መሆናችን በፍፁም የተረጋገጠ ነው፣ እኛ ከመቼውም ጊዜ በላይ ሀብታም ስንሆን።

❖ እንደ አንድ ምዕራባዊ ሰው በየቦታው ብዙ ከንቱ ፕሮጄክት ህንጻዎች ጋር (እውነት ነው በሌላ ጊዜ መገንባት)፣ አንዳንድ ሀውልት ህንፃዎችን የሚሹ አገሮችን ሲተቹ መስማት እንዴት አስቂኝ ነው?! ቬርሳይ እና መሰሎቹ ህዝቡ እየተራበ እንዳልተገነቡ። በዚያ ላይ ምስራቃዊ አውሮፓን መጎብኘት እና ግዙፍ የስነ-ህንፃ ጥበብ ስለሌላቸው ልንነቅፋቸው ይገባናልን?! ይህን ስል፣ እኔ በጣም ሃይማኖተኛ ባልሆንም እንኳ፣ ብዙ ሰዎች እንዳሉ ይገባኛል፣ እና እናንተም አብያተ ክርስቲያናትን መገንባት አለባችሁ የሚል እምነት አለኝ። ሰዎች ለሆስፒታሎችም እኮ ይለግሳሉ። ለጦርነት እና ጦር መሣሪያም እንደዚሁ! ዪክሬንን ብቻ ማየት በቂ ነው!

ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ ፴/30 ሚሊዮን የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ እምነት ተከታዮች በረሃብ እየተጋፈጡ ባለበት ወቅት፣ የፋሺስት ጋላ-ኦሮሞው አገዛዝ የዘር ማጥፋት እልቂት መሪ ለራሱና ለኤዶማውያን እና እስማኤላውያን ሞግዚቶች ፲፭/15 ቢሊዮን ዶላር ቤተ መንግሥት እየገነባ ነው። በሰሜናዊው ንፍቀ ክበብ ከሚመጣው የኒውክሌር አፖካሊፕስ መትረፍ ይችሉ ዘንድ ሉሲፈርያውያን ከኢትዮጵያ ቅዱሳን ተራሮች በታች መትረፊያ የዋሻ ቤቶችን እንዲሠራ ትእዛዝ ሰጥተውታል።

♱ Bucharest's massive, valuable People's Salvation Cathedral is months away from its scheduled opening, but the architectural colossus already dominates the skyline of the Romanian capital.

The landmark, in the center of the Romanian capital, is due to be completed by 2025 but is already the world's largest and tallest Eastern Orthodox Cathedral. When the final cross is added to the central cupola, the building will stand 127 meters tall.

Plans for a skyscraping cathedral to celebrate the ascendance of Orthodox Christianity date back to the Russian and Romanian victory over Muslim Ottoman forces in 1878. Romanians refer to that conflict as their War of Independence.

In the 20th century, world wars, followed by communist dictatorship, along with difficulties choosing a location, led to the cathedral project being repeatedly shelved. Finally, in 2010, ground was broken on an unused patch of land on the territory of communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu's infamous Palace of the Parliament, and construction has continued since then.

A reported 200 million euros ($216 million) have been spent on the project thus far, with most of the money coming from public funds, and around a quarter from donations.

The spiritual and practical consequences of the cathedral will make the cost more than worth it. The site is likely to become a major pilgrimage site for both Orthodox Christians and nonbelievers.

The cathedral will be capable of holding a choir of 1,000 singers and 6,000 worshipers within its main hall. A large team of artists is currently working on mosaics that will fill the interior surfaces.

A 25-ton bell for the project was designed by a team led by Italian campanologist Flavio Zambotto. He told Romanian media that, while every bell he produces is "like a son" to him, the monster instrument designed for the Bucharest cathedral "was emotional to hear for the first time: strong, deep, long. It's a sound that embraces you, marks you."

It will be possible to hear the bell around 20 kilometers away, according to reports.

The People's Salvation Cathedral cathedral was consecrated on 25 November 2018, as it was also marked the centenary of the modern Romanian state. In the video we see crowds of believers gathered outside the cathedral and watched the service on large screens.

That being said, even if I am not very religious, I understand many people are, and I am of the opinion you have to build churches too. People have donated for hospitals too. The same goes for war and weapons! Just look at Ukraine!
