💭 እኛስ ለምንድን ነው አጋጣሚውን ተጠቅመን በተለይ የኤዶማውያኑ እና እስማኤላውያኑ ዓለማት የፋሺስቱን ጋላ-ኦሮሞ አገዛዝ ደግፈው በክርስቲያኑ ሕዝባችን ላይ እየፈጸሙት ስላሉት ጀነሳይድ በየከተማቱ መልዕክትና የአብሮነት ጥሪዎችን የማናስተላልፈው? በተለይ በለንደን ከተማ ኦርቶዶክስ ክርስቲያኑ በየሰንበቱ ከቅዳሴ ሥነ ስርዓት በኋላ ምዕመኑ ወደ ሃይድ ፓርክ ነጭ ለብሶ እና ምልክቶች ይዞ በጸጥታ በማምራት በተናጋሪዎች ጥግ ላይ በኢትዮጵያ ክርስቲያኖች ስለገጠማቸው የዘር ማጥፋት ጂሃድ ቢተነፍስ ምን ያህል የተቀደሰ፣ ተግባራዊ እና ውጤታማ የሆነ የመንፈሳዊ ሥራ በሠራ። እንዲህ ያለው ባሕል ካልዳበረ ማንም ስለሚደርስብን ግፍና በደል ግድ አይሰጠውም። ባካችሁ ከሌሎች ኦርቶዶክስ ዓብያተ ክርስቲያናት ጋር ግንባርና አብሮነትን ፍጠሩ እንፍጠር፤ ኦርቶዶክሳውያን ወገኖቻችንን ያለምንም አህዛባዊ እብሪተኝነት እና ኩራት፤ “ኑ ሕብረት ፈጥረን ለሰልፍ እንውጣ፣ መረጃ እንለዋወጥ፣ መግለጫ ነገር እናውጣ፣ እራሷ ዓለምም እንድትተርፍ ለሁሉም እናሳውቅ ወዘተ” ማለት መቻል አለብን። ትሁቶቹ የቀደሙት አባቶቻችን እኮ ይህን ነበር የሚያደርጉት!የቀደሙት ጀግኖች የኢትዮጵያ ክርስቲያን ነገሥታት እንኳን በሃገራቸው ሕዝበ ክርስቲያን ላይ በኮፕት ክርስቲያን ወገኖቻችን ላይ አድሎ እና ስቃይ ሲፈጸምባቸው፤ “እንግዲያውስ ከአባይ ውሃ ጠብታ አትቀምሷትም!” እያሉ በማስፈራራት ሕዝበ ክርስቲያኑ በሰላም እንዲኖር ክርስቲያናዊ ግዴታቸውን በመወጣት ከፍተኛ አስተዋጽኦ ያበረክቱ ነበር። እኛ ምን ነካን? ክርስቲያናዊ አብሮነትን ማሳየት እኮ እምነታችንን ከምንተገብርባቸው ሥራዎች ዋናው እና ቁልፉ ነው፤ በተለይ በዚህ ዘመን።

♱ At least a few dozen Orthodox Christians participated in this year’s March for Life in London.

The Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia’s Diocese of Great Britain and Western Europe reports:

Continuing a tradition of many years, clergy and faithful of the Diocesan Region of the British Isles took part in the annual “March for Life” in London. The annual event, which seeks to draw attention to the sanctity of all life as created by God, draws people from all across Great Britain for a peaceful march through the capital in honour of God’s creation.

Orthodox participation was coordinated by Fr. Mark Tattum-Smith of the Church and College of the Theotokos “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in Mettingham, Suffolk. Father began the day with a molieben, then led the faithful Orthodox throughout the pro-life march.

March for Life UK began in Birmingham in 2012 with about 70 people. It steadily grew year after year, and in 2018, the march was moved to London. Thousands now participate in the movement every year.
