ከአራት ዓመታት በፊት ልክ በዚህ የፕሬዚደንት ምርጫዋ ወቅት አሜሪካ ለፋሺስቱ ጋላ-ኦሮሞ አገዛዝ እና አጋሮቿ በአክሱማዊቷ ኢትዮጵያ ላይ የዘር-ማጥፋት ጂሃድ ያካሂዱ ዘንድ ፈቃዱን ሰጠቻቸው፤ ያው አሁን ደግሞ ወስላታው የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚንስትሩ ብሊንከን ልክ በዚህ ወቅት ከጀነሳይድ ስራ አስፈጻሚው ከቆሻሻው ግራኝ አብዮት አህመድ አሊ ጋር በይፋ ለመነጋገር ወሰነ። እንግዲህ ይህ ሆን ተብሎ 'የጀነሳይድ ድላቸውን' እያከበሩ መሆናቸውን ለእኛ ከጀነሳይድ ለተረፍነው ተበዳዮቹ ማሳወቃቸው ነው፤ 'አሁን ከስልጣን ብንወገድ እንኳን (አይመስለኝም!) ግባችንን መትተናል፣ ድል አድርገናችኋል!' በማለት እየተሳለቁብን ነው!
አይይይ! መስሏቸው ነው፤ እንግዲያውስ ጋላ-ኦሮሞ እና አጋሮቹ ከፍተኛ መቅሰፍት እየመጣባቸው እንደሆነ ይወቁት! አሜሪካም ለከፍተኛ የእርስበርስ ጦርነት ትጋለጣለች፣ ሌሎቹም አረቦች፣ ቱርክ፣ ኢራን ወዘተ አይተውት የማያውቁትን መዓት በቅርቡ ይጋፈጡታል። ወዮላቸው! ወዮላቸው! ወዮላቸው!

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke to Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed today. The Secretary and Prime Minister discussed the 2022 signing of the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement (COHA) that ended the two-year war between the Government of Ethiopia and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front. The Secretary reaffirmed U.S. support for Ethiopian efforts to implement the COHA. The Secretary also underscored the need for political dialogue to address Ethiopia’s other internal conflicts, and shared U.S. concern about growing violence in Amhara. The Secretary and Prime Minister discussed concerns about rising tensions in the Horn of Africa.
