ለሶርያውያን ክርስቲያኖች መትረፍ ማለት ሕይወታቸውን መጠበቅ ብቻ ሳይሆን ማንነታቸውን፣ እምነታቸውንና ቦታቸውን ለዘመናት መኖሪያቸው በሆነች ምድር ላይ መጠበቅም ጭምር ነው። አንድ ክርስቲያን አክቲቪስት፤ “አንጠፋም። ቁጥራችን ቢቀንስም፣ ደወላችን ቢዘጋም እምነታችንን እና ታሪካችንን ወደፊት እናስቀጥላለን።” ይላል።

በእስላማዊው ኤች.ቲ.ኤስ አገዛዝ ሥር ያሉ የሶሪያ ክርስቲያኖች ችግር በሃይማኖታዊ አናሳዎች በግጭት ጊዜ የሚያጋጥሟቸውን ተጋላጭነቶች አሳዛኝ ማስታወሻ ነው። የአሳድ መንግሥት መውደቅና ጽንፈኛ አስተዳደር ሲነሳ፣ የሶሪያ ክርስቲያኖች ጭካኔ የተሞላበት የጭቆናና የመደምሰስ እውነታ ውስጥ ገብተዋል።

የክርስቶስ ተቃዋሚ ቱርክ አጀንዳ በሶሪያ ውስጥ የሶሪያ መረጋጋት ወይም ሶሪያ ከራሷ እና ከጎረቤቶቿ ጋር በሰላም እንድትኖር አይደለም፤ ይልቁንም ቱርክ የሶሪያን እስላሞች በአናሳ ቡድኖች ላይ በተለይም የአርመን ክርስቲያኖችን በአሌፖ እና በሶሪያ ሰሜናዊ ምስራቅ የሶሪያ ኩርዶች ላይ ጥቃት እንዲደረግባቸው ትሻለች። ምክንያቱም ሙስሊሞቹ እነ ጋኔን ኤርዶጋን ክርስቲያን-ጠል ዘረኞች፣ ዘር አጥፊዎች ናቸውና ነው፣ ምክንያቱም የሶሪያን ራስን በራስ ማስተዳደር እና የሰሜን እና ምስራቅ ሶሪያን የራስ ገዝ አስተዳደር መኖርን ዝም ብለው አይታገሡም እና ነው። በዋሽንግተን ያሉ ቱርክ ደጋፊ ቲንክ ታንክ ልሂቃን ማህበረሰብ የሚናገሩት የኩርዲስታን ሰራተኞች ፓርቲ (ፒኬኬ) የሽብርተኝነት መሰረት አድርጎ ለቱርክ የሚያሰጋ ወይም የኢራን ደጋፊ የሆነ፣ ቱርክን ለመጎብኘት ያልፈለጉ እና ብዙ ጊዜ የማይፈልጉ እንደሆኑ አድርገው ብቻ ናቸው። እነዚህ በዋሽንግተን ያሉ የቱርክ ሎቢይስቶች በቦታው ተገኝተው ለራሳቸው ለመመርመር ፈቃደኞች አይደሉም።

ቱርክ የቆጵሮስ አለመረጋጋትን አምጥታለች፣ ሰው አልባ አውሮፕላኖችን እና ሌሎች የጦር መሳሪያዎችን በሊቢያ ላሉ እስላሞች ትልካለች፣ ከዚያም በሌሎቹ ጦርነቶች ሊቢያውያንን እንደ ቅጥረኛ ትጠቀማለች። ቱርክ ለዘር-አጥፊው የፋሺስቱ ጋላ-ኦሮሞ አገዛዝ፣ በሶማሊያ እና በኢትዮጵያ ላሉ እስላማዊ እና ኢ-ዲሞክራሲያዊ አንጃዎች የምታደርገው ድጋፍ በአፍሪካ ቀንድ ላይ አለመረጋጋት እንዲፈጠር ረድቷታል፤ ሁሌ በታሪክ የምትመኘው አጀንዳዋ ነበርና።

Turkey’s agenda in Syria is not Syrian stability or a Syria at peace with itself and its neighbors; rather, Turkey leverages Syrian Islamists against minority groups, especially Armenian Christians in Aleppo and Syrian Kurds in northeastern Syria. Erdoğan, for reasons apparently as irrational as they are racist, simply refuses to tolerate Syrian self-governance and the existence of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria. Those among the Washington think tank community who parrot Turkish talking points about the region as a terrorist base for the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) that threatens Turkey, or a pro-Iranian satrapy, are exclusively those who have not and often refuse to visit the region to investigate for themselves.

Turkey was always like this starting from atrocities against Christians of Ethiopia, Greece, Armenia, Assyria – and no one, whether the West, NATO, Israel, Russia or The UN, no wants seems to hold the genocidal state of Turkey accountable.

By the way, after helping the genocidal fascist Oromo regime of Ethiopia to massacre more than a million ancient Christians of Northern Ethiopia, in these days genocidal Turkey is trying to master what is generally known as the Hegelian dialectic; Problem – Reaction – Solution. Through its genocidal agent Abiy Ahmed Ali, genocidal Turkey created artificial /virtual tension between the fascist Oromo regime of Ethiopia and Somalia (Somaliland), reacted to it, and came up as a 'Peacemaker' to avoid accountability. We saw it with The Armenian Genocide – and we are witnessing it with the ongoing Ethiopian and Syrian Genocide now.

Turkey’s support for radical Sunni movements is well-documented. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is open about his embrace of Hamas, but there is evidence of his diplomatic and economic, if not military, complicity with the most radical elements of the Sunni Islamist opposition, up to and including Al Qaeda and even Islamic State-linked groups.

Turkey destabilizes Cyprus, ships drones and other weaponry to Islamists in Libya, and then utilizes Libyans as mercenaries in its other fights. Turkey’s support for the genocidal Oromo regime of Ethiopia, for Islamist and undemocratic factions in Somalia and Ethiopia increasingly risks fragile stability on the Horn of Africa. Its support for Hamas has thrown a life raft to a group solely responsible for the October 7, 2023, atrocity, the largest single-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
