ታማኝ የእግዚአብሔር አገልጋይ እና የማይበገር ሰማዕት ቅዱስ ጊዮርጊስ በእምነት ስጦታ በእግዚአብሔር ሞገስ ተሰጥተህ በጽኑ የክርስቶስ ፍቅር ተቃጠልክ። በትዕቢት፣ በውሸት እና በተንኮል ላይ በጀግንነት ተዋግተሃል። ሥቃይም ሆነ ስቃይ፣ ሰይፍ ወይም ሞት ከክርስቶስ ፍቅር ሊለዩህ አይችሉም። በእኔ ላይ የተሰቀለውን መስቀል በትዕግስት እንድሸከም የሚጨቁኑኝን ሙከራዎችና ፈተናዎች በጀግንነት እንድሸከም በአማላጅነትህ እንድትረዳኝ አጥብቄ እለምንሃለሁ። ጭንቀትም ሆነ ችግር ከጌታችን ከኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ ፍቅር አይለየኝ። ጀግናው የእምነታችን አሸናፊ፣ ከክፉ ነገር ሁሉ ጋር በምታገልበት ጊዜ እርዳኝ።

አምላካችን እግዚአብሔር ከቅዱስ ጊዮርጊስም በረከት ያሳትፈን፤ የሰማዕቱም ረድኤት ሁላችን የክርስቲያን ወገኖችን ከሥጋና ከነፍስ መከራ ይጠብቀን፤ ለዘለዓለሙ አሜን!!!
